Brown fur tam-o'-shanter; wider front; small brown veil; brown velvet button on top; lined in brown taffeta; small elastic strap for back.

Dark brown fur felt cap; brimless; draped to right side with brown silk braiding and fringe; braid on front edge; not lined; brown headsize band. -
Helmet hat
Black sequin and bead helmet hat; buckram base completely covered with linear design of sequins and beads; point d'esprit veiling. -

Black and white straw picture hat; 4 inch crown height; 2 inch white band around 5 inch brim. -
Cap
Dark green velvet cap; stiffened band around face; gathered circle sewn onto stiffened band covers back of head; brown headsize band; lined in sheer horsehair; 2 hat pins. Renaissance inspired. Label: Hattie Carnegie Custom Made. -
Straw hat
Golden brown straw hat; slightly indented crown; no lining; brown head-size band; cut-out in back.
Worn by Lynn Fontanne. Purchased at the auction of Lynn Fontanne's estate using funds from Mount Mary alumnae. -
Evening gown
Long black silk crepe evening gown; cut-out front neckline; bias cut; fabric has been slashed to permit black plastic disks to be inserted in the circles; trains in back; hand-overcast. Some disks are broken or missing. -
Dress
Dusty pink lace dress; jewel neckline; cap sleeves; shirred midriff; very full skirt.
This dress is attributed to Hattie Carnegie. -

Beige wool fitted suit. A. Jacket; windbreaker collar; double breasted; five button center front closure; straight sleeves, unraveling at hems; seam off shoulder; watch pocket with flap at right hip. B. Skirt; A-line; six gores; no waistband; knee length. Skirt has been altered. -
Skirt
Black taffeta circle skirt; multiple gores with diagonally pleated fabric mitered at seamlines; center back zipper closure; tea length. -
Dinner dress
A. Long red and blue crepe dinner dress; Chinese-inspired print of geometric maze shape with organic vines and leafs; jewel neckline; short puff sleeves with pleated sleeve caps; bodice and sleeves are red printed with white; bust darts; waist pleats; long A-line skirt is blue-purple printed in lavender; side hook and eye closure. B. Self-fabric tie belt; one side is red print and other side is blue-purple print.
