Made by donor, Mary Fulop Nowakowski, MMC Fashion Design graduate, class of 1974. Created for the 1973 fashion show. The outfit was listed as "not for sale," though the muslins could be purchased for $15.00 (skirt) and $10.00 (halter top). -

Off-white muslin toile; deep V-neckline; many pins at neck to demonstrate tape at neck to prevent gaping; shoulder yoke to V to bust; sleeveless; A-line skirt on bias with center front seam; back open to shoulder, then zipper closure; back shoulder yoke.
This toile was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class. -

Taupe wool broadcloth suit. A. Jacket; polished tricot brown and black floral vest and trim attached as embellishment on jacket extending to back, shawl collar, slight shoulder pads, long set-in two-piece sleeves, sleeve back is floral tricot, patch pockets on chest with buttoned flap, center front closure of four buttons, buttons are silver tone with similar floral motif in khaki and black, lined in taupe taffeta. B. Pants; contour waistband, center front fly zipper, slash single welt pocket in front, long narrow legs with zipper in back, eight buttons on each leg up the side seam from the hem, unlined.
This item is from Fall/Winter 2006-2007. -

Brown wool double knit sheath dress; 2 parallel white stripes run down center front; set of 3 white/2 black stripes run down princess lines; stripe pattern repeated on back; high scoop neckline; left side metal zipper closure, hand-inserted; hook and eye and snap closures at shoulder; 7.5 inch band at bottom with horizontal stripes.

This dress is from Florence Eiseman's "Functional Fashions" line for children with disabilities from the early 1960s. -

Burgundy crepe evening gown; straps are lattice-like construction created with grosgrain ribbon and crepe; midriff construction is same as straps; straight skirt with slit at center front; invisible side zipper closure; hook closures at bodice; skirt lined in acetate; bodice lined in self-fabric; ankle length.
