Top; Peter Pan collar; long sleeves gathered into cuffs; A-line silhouette; white arrow appliqué placed diagonally across front piercing 3 hearts; hearts embroidered with text "Love", "me", and "!"; two buttons inside to attach bottoms; 3 button and 1 snap closure at center back. B. Child's light blue corduroy diaper cover; elastic at waist and legs; loops on either side of waist to attach to diaper set top.
  • Blouse and skirt ensemble of black silk brocade with all over floral motif of five-petaled flowers and leaves. A. Short overblouse; jewel neckline, center front opening, slight asymmetrical wrap front with three hook and eye closures at the waist, bracelet-length dolman sleeves are cut in one with bodice, unlined with hand-overcast seams and double overcast facings. B. Skirt gathers into a straight waistband with hook and eye closures, midcalf length, unlined. All hand-overcast. Worn by Valentina.
  • Tan wool ensemble. A. Skirt is heavily gathered, wide straight waistband, center back zipper, inverted box pleat at center front with three released tucks on each side, no side seams, slash pockets hidden under the tucks, unlined throughout. One seam at center back, hand finished. B. Stole lays across shoulders. Heavy chevron pattern braid in brown and beige holds pleats in back. Self-facings with more braid, unlined. Hand finished.
