Illustration
Fashion illustration of a woman in a dress length coat. Black and white pencil on paper. On the side reads, “Life is too short and winter’s too long to go without a mink.” The year is listed as 1976 and the artist is M. Fulop. Near the signature it reads "Jan. 1973", indicating this is the actual year.
Mary Fulop Nowakowski was a Fashion Design major, Class of 1974. She later served as the Curator of the Historic Costume Collection (now Fashion Archive) at Mount Mary College. -

Part of a theater suit with dress (Object ID #2022.05.01.a).
This suit is an exact reproduction of a 1908 theater suit in the collection of the Wisconsin State Historical Society.
