Brown plain weave silk brocade evening gown; made from a sari; gold and peacock blue supplemental weft of mango shoots (paisleys); one-shoulder; side zipper closure; seam at natural waistline; straight skirt, slit up front; border of paisleys down front and around hem; ankle length.
Possibly an Ann Lowe gown based on the distinctive lace trim construction on the interior hem, a signature finishing technique frequently used by Lowe. -

B. Brown leather eyeglasses case; opens vertically; marked on inside in gold letters: "Dr. Ralph P. Sproule, 922 Bankers Bldg., Milwaukee, Wis."; lined with black felt.

A. White lace gown; bateau neckline; bound oval cut-out at center front; sleeveless; V-shaped hip yoke; gored skirt; attached belt with rhinestone buckle fastens at back. B. White lace jacket; cape-like; edged with mink fur; rhinestone buttons with loops at center front. It is unclear how this jacket is meant to be worn.
