Black and white wool dress; black wool body with white silk insets at collar and cuffs; white notched collar sewn under black V-neckline; "V" is heavily embellished with gold beading, chain, and rhinestones; back shoulder darts; waistline seam falls at natural waist; center back zipper closure; black belt at waist with hook closures in back, attached to gold V at buckle; belt buckle is heavily embellished with gold beading, chain, and clear rinestones as well as tiny pearls; set-in sleeves ending 3.5 inches above wrists, heavily embellished with gold beading, chain, and rinestones; 3.5 inch white silk cuffs that open to outside are attached to black portion of sleeves from the inside; gathered skirt has inseam pockets on both side seams at hips; fully lined.

Two piece ensemble
Black silk shantung ensemble. A. Jacket; roll collar; 4 domed fabric button opening at center front; 7/8 length set-in sleeves; polished silk black bow ribbon tie at neck; contour darts to hem at front and back; hip length; lined in bright fuschia china silk. B. A-line skirt; no waistband; front has 3 seams, back has 2 seams; zipper set into seam on back left side; lined in black china silk. "F" embroidered in white at inside front waist; knee length.

Black wool jersey blouse; shaped as fitted mini dress; square neckline; spaghetti straps with looped ends attach at front neckline with gold metal shank buttons; left side zipper closure. -
Pants
Black silk damask tapered leg pants; self-patterned with white linked circle design; banded waistline; three frontal pleats; two back darts; two inseam pockets lined in nylon; combination button; snap closure on left hand side (button is missing). -
Blouse
Black machine-made cotton lace blouse; strapless; hook and eye closures on left side; back is about 6 cm longer than front; lined in nylon tricot. -

Gray and black wool jersey dress; knitted design resembling herringbone in gray and black, with vertical stripes of khaki green; mandarin collar; center front opening with 6 brass buttons; stitched-down pleats extending from shoulder to skirt at front and back; pleats stitched down at shoulder and again at waist; long one-piece set-in sleeves; mid-calf length; side inseam pockets; there was probably a matching belt which is now missing. -
Two piece ensemble
Medium blue cotton chintz with black floral vertical striped pattern ensemble. A. Blouse; wing collar; four white buttons; white top-stitching; waist tucks front and back; back shoulder yoke; set-in sleeves with one button band cuffs; left side front pocket. B. Shorts; regular waist band; left side hook and eye closure; side slits. -
Evening gown
Black silk faille evening gown; portrait roll collar; short kimono sleeves; stitched puckered faille bodice; plain faille full circle skirt; ankle length. Worn with matching belt. Belt is disintegrating. -

Black silk faille evening gown; deep V-neckline front and back; 3/4 length kimono sleeves; French dart; waist line rises to point on center front seam; wide flare skirt; side zipper closure; ankle length. -

Red rayon surah blouse; printed with abstract design of black dots and starts; semi-fitted; narrow roll collar with single hook and eye closure; long dolman sleeves; six plastic button closures; two French darts; yellow stitching around waistline; black stitching around collar and cuffs. -

Black and green feather pattern velvet vest; back of vest is solid black wool; jewel collar; double-breasted with 8 silver filigree button closure; front has princess line seams; back has modified princess line; waist length; lined in red and green plaid cotton. -

Royal blue silk shantung stole with flocked black linear daisy pattern; Pelerine type; shaped triangle with black silk taffeta linging used as binding; double snap closure. Possibly not designed by Valentina due to different construction techniques. Worn by Valentina. -
Evening gown
A. Blue silk evening gown with black silk chiffon overlay; deep rounded yoke piece; ivory chiffon banded in orange; 3/4 length sleeves with orange bands; full skirt with train. B. Blue silk tie belt with black chiffon overlay.
Worn by Lynn Fontanne. Purchased at the auction of Lynn Fontanne's estate using funds from Mount Mary alumnae. -

Black silk satin envelope clutch purse.
