Chocolate brown double knit wool coat; short rolled collar; vertical single welt pockets with 1.5 inch welts at waist; circular buttons with rolled fabric button loops; back yoke at shoulders; center back seam; 3/4 length raglan sleeves with white contrasting cuffs; cuffs are 2.25 inches wide; white knit inside.

Chapman Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Sister Mary Nora Barber, president of Mount Mary College, mentioning Mr. Schmidt's visit with Sister Aloyse Hessburg (head of the fashion design program at Mount Mary) and complimenting the training Ruth McDuffie, a Chapman Co. employee and Mount Mary graduate, received at Mount Mary. -
